It's easier than you think!
Have you ever stood on a mountain and wished you could fly? Have you ever watched someone flying and wished you could too? Did you ever watch a bird soaring and think how nice that would be? Did you think I want to do that one day, when you saw someone flying like a bird on TV or in a film?

Well you can, and ordinary people are doing it every day all over the country and the world. It's easy to learn, its safe, and it???s the cheapest form of aviation known. Free Flight! It's been mans dream to fly like a bird forever, now is your chance to do it!

Choose one of the disciplines described here on our website and contact SAHPA or one of the listed schools to get started.

SAHPA is the governing body for legally flying paragliders, hang gliders, powered paragliders, powered hang gliders and para-trikes in South Africa. All pilots that part take in these sports must be licensed by RAASA, as required by the Civil Aviation Act. Our dedicated associated members will guide you to practice safe and enjoyable flying. Many courses from basic to advanced are available.

We invite YOU to come and explore the blue sky with us and be part of an exciting and festive social free flying community.
