Event Highlights
- Competition-Style Training Tasks
Pilots will have the chance to participate in structured competition-style tasks designed to sharpen their flying skills. These exercises provide an excellent opportunity for those preparing for formal competitions or simply looking to challenge themselves. - Large Airspace for Adventure Flying
The event location offers a vast, unrestricted flying area, allowing pilots to explore the stunning surroundings of the Northern Cape, including the picturesque Orange River. This is a rare chance to experience long-distance adventure flights in a safe and well-organized environment. - Free Participation
There are no event fees to participate in the Orania PPG Fly-In. However, pilots must be SAHPA members and hold a valid license to take part. - Accommodation & Meals
While participation in the event is free, pilots are responsible for their own accommodation and food. There are various lodging options in and around Orania, and the area offers excellent dining opportunities. - On-Ground Activities
